• What meeting rooms are available?

  Hotel Deventer features several meeting rooms and multi-purpose rooms, including the Waag meeting room and Brink meeting room, as well as boardrooms such as Waag 1. These spaces vary in size and are suitable for both small and large gatherings.

• What are the capacities per room in theater layout?

  The capacity per room in a theater setup varies by space: the Waag rooms are suitable for approximately 50 people in a theater setup. Brink 1 is suitable for 160 people and Brink 2 for 140. Additionally, it is possible to combine Brink 1 and 2; these spaces are suitable for 350 people in a theater setup.

• What are the capacities per room in a U-shape?

  The capacity in U-shaped setup varies per room. The Waag rooms can accommodate approximately 21 people in a U-shape. For options regarding the Brink rooms, please contact our sales department.

• What are the capacities per room in a boardroom layout?

  We have one standard boardroom setup available in Waag 1, which accommodates up to 14 people. Waag 2 through 7 each accommodate up to 8 people.

• What audiovisual equipment (AV inventory) is available as standard in the rooms?

  We provide a handheld device, headset, presentation pointer, projector with screen or interactive presentation screen, and Microsoft Teams capabilities as standard.

• What meeting packages are available at the hotel?

  Our meeting rooms are always rented in combination with a meeting package. You can choose between a package for one, two, or three half-days. More information about the meeting packages can be found in the brochure.

• What are the rates per half-day for the meeting packages?

  A 1/3-day session starts at €22.50 per person and can be upgraded with a lunch buffet, a main course, or a three-course dinner.

  A 2/3-day session starts at €28.50 per person and can also be upgraded with a lunch buffet, a main course, or a three-course dinner.

  A 3/3-day session costs €79.50 per person and includes a lunch buffet and dinner.

• Is room rental included in a meeting package?

  No, the meeting room rental is not included in the meeting package.

• What is included as standard in the meeting packages?

  Unlimited coffee, tea, and soft drinks, smoothies, sweet treats from our pastry chef, fresh fruit, nuts, dried fruit, mineral water in the meeting room, meeting mints, pens and notepads, a flip chart with markers, and a projector with screen or interactive presentation screen.

• What types of break-out snacks are available for business meetings?

  We offer sweet treats from our pastry chef, fresh fruit, nuts, and dried fruit in the foyer as standard. In addition, you can add an afternoon snack to your reservation.

• Are special dietary requirements or allergies possible, such as halal, kosher, or nutfree?

  We are happy to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies. You can discuss any requirements with our sales department when making your reservation.

• How can guests request a copy of their invoice after departure?

• How can guests request a VAT breakdown after departure?

  You can contact our sales department at sales@deventer.valk.nl or call 0570 741 880. They will be happy to assist you in obtaining a VAT specification.

• When is a booking considered a group booking (number of rooms)?

  Bookings of 10 hotel rooms or more are considered group bookings.

• What conditions apply to group bookings?

  The terms and conditions for the group booking are stated in our brochure.
